Fraus Technologies, Inc. (“Fraus,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit fraustech.com (the “Site”), submit an inquiry or otherwise communicate with us through the Site.
This policy applies to information collected through the Site and related inquiry communications. Additional terms may apply when a client engages Fraus for services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: Your name, email address, telephone number, company or brand and other information you provide.
- Inquiry information: The type of assistance requested, your description of the matter, relevant URLs and other information you submit.
- Information about third parties: Account names, profiles, advertisements, listings, domains, applications, companies, individuals or other information relevant to a matter you ask us to review.
- Communications: Information contained in subsequent emails, calls or other communications with Fraus.
- Technical information: Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, referring pages, pages requested, timestamps, server logs and information used to maintain security and prevent spam or abuse.
Contact-form submissions are stored within the Site’s WordPress database and may also be transmitted through our email and hosting systems.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic operation, security and form functionality. As of the effective date of this policy, Fraus does not use third-party advertising pixels on the Site and does not sell personal information or use it for targeted behavioral advertising.
3. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Operate, maintain and secure the Site;
- Respond to inquiries and determine whether Fraus is the appropriate fit for a matter;
- Communicate with prospective and existing clients;
- Provide authorized investigation, enforcement, representation or consulting services;
- Preserve relevant business and matter records;
- Detect fraud, spam, misuse or security threats;
- Protect Fraus, its clients and others; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce agreements.
4. How We Disclose Information
Fraus may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: To website-hosting, email, form-processing, security, information-technology and other providers that support our operations.
- Professional and matter-related parties: To our partner law firm, independent licensed counsel, investigators, consultants, platforms, vendors or other professionals when appropriate and authorized in connection with a matter.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, legal process or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or property.
- Business transactions: In connection with a potential merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Fraus does not sell or rent personal information and does not disclose it to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
5. Contact Forms and Sensitive Information
Please do not submit passwords, financial-account information, payment-card information, government identification numbers, medical records or other highly sensitive or privileged materials through the Site’s contact form.
Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship, and Fraus Technologies is not a law firm. Communications sent only to Fraus are not necessarily protected by attorney-client privilege. If additional materials are needed, Fraus will provide appropriate instructions.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate or handle an inquiry, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the matter involved. Residual information may remain temporarily in backups and security logs.
7. Data Security
Fraus uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no website, storage system or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to request access, correction or deletion. To submit a privacy request, use our Contact page, select “Other” and identify the request as a “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Fraus may retain information when permitted or required by law, including information needed for security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
9. Do Not Track and Preference Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no uniform standard for interpreting these signals, the Site does not currently respond differently to them. Fraus does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising on the Site. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid opt-out preference signal, Fraus will honor that signal as required.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. Fraus is not responsible for the privacy, security or content practices of those third parties. Their own privacy policies govern information provided to them.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Fraus does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. United States Processing
Fraus is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional notice on the Site when appropriate.
