Creator protection & brand enforcement
AI Impersonation & Fake Ad Enforcement
Your face. Your voice. A product you never endorsed.
Fraus Technologies helps creators and brands investigate deceptive AI advertisements, false endorsements and unauthorized use of their identities. We preserve evidence, pursue platform removals and coordinate with independent counsel when a matter requires legal escalation.
Much of our deceptive AI ad enforcement work focuses on Facebook and Instagram (Meta), where unauthorized promotions exploit creators’ reputations and mislead their audiences.
When a fake endorsement puts your reputation to work for someone else
An advertisement can make it appear that you promoted an app, recommended a product or promised results without your involvement. Fraus investigates the content, the accounts distributing it and the operators behind the campaign.
AI-generated voices and altered videos
Advertisements that manipulate a creator’s appearance or voice to manufacture an endorsement or put words in their mouth.
Fake Facebook and Instagram ads
Paid promotions that use a creator’s identity, likeness or content without authorization to market apps, products or services.
Impersonation accounts and channels
Profiles that present themselves as a creator or brand, including YouTube channels that republish and monetize stolen videos.
Recurring campaigns and repeat abuse
Content that reappears through different advertisements, accounts or websites after earlier removals, requiring further investigation and follow-up.
How Fraus responds
We connect the immediate removal work with the broader investigation, so each action supports a clear understanding of the abuse and the available next steps.
- Document the misuse. Review the advertisements, videos and accounts involved, preserve available evidence and establish how the creator’s identity or content is being used.
- Investigate the campaign. Examine advertiser identities, linked websites, apps, companies and infrastructure to identify connections and responsible operators where the evidence supports them.
- Pursue platform enforcement. Prepare and submit relevant reports and removal requests, track responses and follow up on unresolved or recurring abuse.
- Coordinate escalation. Connect stakeholders, organize supporting information and work with independent counsel when legal assessment or action is appropriate.
- Stay involved. Support coordination and strategy as the matter develops, including further evidence review and follow-up within the agreed scope.
Our broader enforcement work spans YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok. The approach depends on the conduct, available evidence and platform involved.
Experience that extends beyond the removal request
Fraus has removed thousands of deceptive AI-generated advertisements. Our investigative and consulting work also supported the following settlement outcomes with our partner law firm.
$1.1 MillionSettlement

Fraus remained involved in a consulting capacity throughout the process, supporting coordination and strategy through resolution.
$850,000Settlement

These outcomes reflect the circumstances of individual matters and do not guarantee a similar result. Independent counsel handles legal advice and legal proceedings.
Found a fake ad? Start with the evidence.
If you can do so safely, capture the following before the advertisement or account changes:
- Direct links to the advertisement, post, profile or channel, along with any visible ad identifiers.
- Screenshots or screen recordings showing the full advertisement, account name and endorsement being presented.
- The date and platform where you saw the content, plus the advertiser’s displayed name.
- The promoted destination, such as an app name or a visible website address. You do not need to download an app or enter personal information.
- Your original content or authentic profile links that help demonstrate what was copied or misrepresented.
- Previous reports and responses, including report numbers and examples of the content returning.

Questions about AI impersonation and fake ads
Can Fraus help with fake ads on Facebook and Instagram?
Yes. Much of our deceptive AI advertisement enforcement focuses on Meta’s Facebook and Instagram platforms. We investigate unauthorized promotions, preserve evidence, pursue removals and follow up on recurring abuse.
What if someone is monetizing my videos on YouTube?
Fraus’s enforcement work includes YouTube channels that impersonate creators, republish stolen videos and monetize that content without authorization. We review the channel, the copied material and the identity misuse to determine the appropriate enforcement approach.
What if I already reported the ad and it keeps coming back?
Share the earlier reports, platform responses and examples of the recurring content. Fraus can review the pattern, investigate connections between campaigns and assess further enforcement or escalation within the engagement.
Does every matter require a lawsuit?
No. An engagement may focus on investigation and platform enforcement. Where legal advice or proceedings are appropriate, Fraus coordinates with independent counsel and can remain involved in an investigative or consulting role.
Someone is using your identity. Let’s establish the facts.
Tell us what you found, where it appeared and how it uses your name, likeness, voice or content. We’ll review the inquiry and discuss scope, fees and next steps if there is a fit.
